Our Mission

Your biology belongs to you.

Private MD Labs exists so you can see your own health information, without permission, without gatekeepers, and without the wait.

The problem we refuse to accept

Somewhere along the way, the healthcare system decided you need permission to look at your own body.

Want to know your testosterone level? Book an appointment. Wait two weeks. Sit in a waiting room. Explain yourself. Get a referral. Drive to a lab. Wait again. Then book a second appointment so someone can read your own numbers back to you.

That is not medicine. That is friction. And friction is why you can check your bank balance at 3 AM in ten seconds, while seeing your own blood work takes a referral, a waiting room, and three weeks.

We think that's backwards. The data your body generates is yours. You should be able to see it when you want, as often as you want, for reasons that are nobody's business but your own.

What we do about it

Since 2005, Private MD Labs has run on one idea: you order the test.

Not your doctor. Not your insurer. You.

Choose the blood work you want. Walk into a lab near you, today if you like. Get physician-reviewed results delivered privately, fast. And if a number needs medical attention, a licensed clinician is a message away, on your schedule, not the system's.

No waiting room. No explaining yourself. No one deciding whether your curiosity about your own health is justified.

This company was doing that before "consumer health" was an industry. Two decades later the model hasn't changed, because it never needed to: direct access, fair prices, real privacy, and results you can act on.

What we believe

Access is the treatment. Most health problems are caught late because looking was hard. When looking is easy, you look. Early knowledge beats late intervention, every time.

Privacy is not a feature. It's a right. What you test for and why is your business. We built this company so you never have to justify checking on your own health.

Speed matters. Anxiety lives in the gap between the question and the answer. We exist to close that gap.

You are capable. The system assumes you can't handle your own information. We assume the opposite. Given clear numbers and a clinician when you want one, you make good decisions. You always have.

Where this goes

The 54-year-old checking his testosterone before his doctor thinks to. The new mother tracking her thyroid between visits. The son managing his father's panels from three time zones away. Every year, more of us stop renting access to our own health and start owning it.

We've spent two decades building for exactly that. We'll spend the rest of the century, perhaps, making direct access to your own blood work so normal that the old way, asking permission to see it, sounds as absurd as it actually is.

Your body. Your data. Your call.

That's the mission. Welcome to our journey and I hope you join us for the ride.

Sincerely,
Jean-Pierre Khoueiri, ceo
