Growth Hormone (hGH), HGH, GH
Growth Hormone, Serum.
Patient must fast overnight before test and rest for at least 30 minutes prior to test (No strenuous exercise for 30 minutes before the test).

Can detect even extremely low levels of estradiol, typically observed in men, prepubertal girls and postmenopausal women.

This hormone is crucial for reproductive health, bone density & mood regulation.

It's like having a magnifying glass for your body's hormonal balance, ensuring that even the tiniest fluctuations are detected. It provides insights into fertility for both men and women, puberty processes, menopause, and overall health.

Insulin-Like Growth Factor I (IGF-I, LC/MS)
HSA/FSA reimbursable
Quest
1 Biomarkers
Earn 95 points
IGF-1, also known as somatomedin-C, is a polypeptide hormone produced by the liver and other tissues in response to growth hormone release by the pituitary gland. IGF-1 effects growth promoting activity and glucose metabolism (insulin-like activity) in most human tissues. It is carried in blood bound to a carrier protein which prolongs its half-life; therefore making serum levels more constant than growth hormone while correlating with "average" circulating levels of growth hormone. In short, IGF-1 is a surrogate marker of growth hormone levels and activity.
Measuring IGF-I is useful in several growth-related disorders. Dwarfism caused by deficiency of growth hormone (hypopituitarism) results in decreased serum levels of IGF-I, while acromegaly (growth hormone excess) results in elevated levels of IGF-I. IGF-I measurements are also helpful in assessing nutritional status; levels are reduced in undernutrition and restored with a proper diet.
A significant deviation from the normal range may require further evaluation by your physician.

Alternative Name(s):
Somatomedin-C, Insulin-Like Growth Factor, IGF-1, SM-C/IGF-1
Insulin-Like Growth Factor I (IGF-I).
No fasting needed.

Estimated turnaround for results is 7 business days. If confirmation testing is required, the estimated time may be extended.

Evaluate hirsutism and masculinization in women; evaluate testicular function in clinical states where the testosterone binding proteins may be altered (obesity, cirrhosis, thyroid disorders).

The Testosterone test uses equilibrium dialysis methodology.

The Testosterone test in this panel will provide levels of Total Testosterone results ranging from 0 to 9,999. However, any value greater than 9,999 will be displayed as ">10,000" (over 10,000) instead of a specific number.

Significant deviations from the normal range may require further evaluation by your physician.

Complete Blood Count / CBC (includes Differential and Platelets)
HSA/FSA reimbursable
Quest
39 Biomarkers
Earn 118 points
The Complete Blood Count with Differential screens for blood abnormalities including red and white blood cells and platelets. Abnormal values have many possible causes including diseases of the blood as well as abnormalities of other organs systems. A complete blood count is used as a screening test for various disease states including anemia, leukemia and inflammatory processes.
Significant deviations from the normal range may require further evaluation by your physician.

The CBC is sometimes called Hemogram.
If abnormal cells are noted on a manual review of the peripheral blood smear or if the automated differential information meets specific criteria, a full manual differential will be performed.
Complete Blood Count / CBC (includes Differential and Platelets): WBC, RBC, Hemoglobin, Hematocrit, MCV, MCH, MCHC, RDW, Platelet Count, MPV and Differential (Absolute and Percent - Neutrophils, Lymphocytes, Monocytes, Eosinophils, and Basophils)

  • Hawaii
Due to state laws, we cannot provide services to residents of New York, New Jersey, and Rhode Island.

Regarding Hawaii - our prepaid requisitions are only able to be utilized at a Labcorp or Quest Diagnostics Patient Service Center found on our website, unfortunately, none of which are located in Hawaii at this time.

Are there any charges at the lab after I place my order?
No, there will be no charges at the lab.

Here’s the only requirement: if you have a Quest Diagnostics lab order (requisition), you can only go to any Quest Diagnostics Patient Service Center listed on our website. Similarly, if you have a LabCorp lab order, it has to be presented at a LabCorp Patient Service Center.

It's important to note that if you present your requisition to the wrong lab company, we won't be able to assist you with any billing issues that may arise.

If you have any doubts or questions about the process or which lab to visit, please text us at 754-799-7833 or email [email protected]. We're always here to help and provide the guidance you need.
How do I read my test results?
For each test, you can either download the standard PDF just like it comes from the lab or use our brand-new Smart Health Reports feature with helpful insights & and easy-to-read graphs for each biomarker. You’ll see it in your patient portal automatically when your results are ready (sample report).

However, if you choose to view the standard PDF, on the left side of the page, you'll find the names of the tests performed.

The next column displays your test levels, followed by indicators such as low/high/alert/critical if your levels fall outside the normal range.

Lastly, you'll find the column listing the normal ranges for each test (sample report).

These normal ranges provide valuable information to assess whether your levels are within the expected range or if they're on the borderline. Comparing your levels to the listed ranges allows you to gauge where you stand.

If you have any further questions, please text us at 754-799-7833 or email [email protected].
