D-Dimer with CBC

This test is used to rule out deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism; evaluate disseminated intravascular coagulation; and can be used to monitor the extent of clot lysis during thrombolytic therapy.
The D-Dimer test requires a Hematocrit to be performed at the same time, Hematocrit is included in the CBC included with this panel.
