Comprehensive Metabolic Profile ( includes eGFR ): Albumin, Albumin/Globulin Ratio (calculated), Alkaline Phosphatase, ALT, AST, BUN/Creatinine Ratio (calculated), Calcium, Carbon Dioxide, Chloride, Creatinine with GFR Estimated, Globulin (calculated), Glucose, Potassium, Sodium, Total Bilirubin, Total Protein, Urea Nitrogen
Hepatitis B Surface Antigen (HBsAg) with Reflex Confirmation
Hepatitis C Antibody with Reflex Confirmation
Herpes Simplex Virus 1 and 2 (IgG), with Reflex to HSV-2 Inhibition:
If Herpes Simplex Virus 2 (IgG) is >1.09, then HSV-2 Inhibition Study will be performed.
HIV 1/2 Antigen and Antibodies, Fourth Generation with Reflex Confirmation: If HIV Antigen and Antibody, 4th Generation Screen is Repeatedly Reactive, HIV-1/2 Antibody Differentiation will be performed. If HIV-1/2 Antibody Differentiation is Indeterminate or Negative, HIV-1 RNA, Qualitative, Real-Time PCR will be performed
Syphilis Ab Cascade: If T. pallidum Antibody is equivocal or positive, then RPR Screen with Reflex to Titer will be performed. If RPR Screen is reactive, then RPR titer will be performed. If RPR screen is non-reactive, then T. pallidum Antibody, Particle Agglutination will be performed
Urinalysis Complete Profile: Color; appearance; specific gravity; pH; protein; glucose; occult blood; ketones; leukocyte esterase; nitrite; bilirubin; urobilinogen; microscopic examination of urine sediment.

Note: Confirmation testing is performed on reactive results only if initial values fall within a designated range requiring additional confirmation.
You should fast for 12 hours before collection of the specimen. Some tests in this panel may exhibit interference when sample is collected from a person who is consuming a supplement with a high dose of biotin (also termed as vitamin B7 or B8, vitamin H or coenzyme R). The patient should collect the first 20-60 mL of voided urine (the first part of the stream-not midstream) into a urine collection cup. Collect the specimen in a sterile, preservative-free collection cup. Patient should be cautioned to stop biotin consumption at least 72 hours prior to the collection of a sample. Patient should not have urinated for at least 1 hour prior to specimen collection. If confirmation testing is required, the estimated time may be extended.

Estimated turnaround for results is 7 business days. If confirmation testing is required, the estimated time may be extended.

Information on the Included STD Tests:

This complete STD test requires a blood draw.

Chlamydia (Chlamydia trachomatis) and Gonorrhea (Neisseria gonorrhoeae): The Chlamydia and Gonorrhea test examines patients for the presence of both sexually-transmitted diseases, detected by their bacteriums, which are frequently the most reported in the country. Hepatitis B Surface Antigen: The Hepatitis B Surface Antigen test is useful in the differential diagnosis of Hepatitis B. It is the earliest indicator of the presence of acute infection, which is indicative of chronic infection, though patients who are negative for HBsAg may still have acute type B viral Hepatitis.Hepatitis C Antibody : The Hepatitis C Antibody test determines the appearance of anti-HC in patients, and could indicate a reduced risk of infectivity. Hepatitis C is a bloodborne liver disease, where exposure to the blood of an infected person may result in infection.Herpes Simplex Virus (HSV) Type I & II Antibodies, IgG : The Herpes Simplex Virus (HSV) Type I and II IgG test is used to determine the presence of Type 1 (HSV-1) and Type 2 (HSV-2) Herpes Simplex in a patient. Most Genital Herpes are caused by HSV-2.Human Immunodeficiency Virus 1/O/2 (HIV-1/O/2) Antigen/Antibody (Fourth Generation) : The HIV-1 Antibodies test screens patients for the presence of HIV-1 antibodies. It is appropriate for exposure at least 6 months prior to testing.

Syphilis (RPR), qualitative and Syphilis (RPR) titer and Treponema pallidum-specific test (TP-PA) on reactives: These Syphilis tests discover the presence of the Treponema pallidum bacterium, which is an indication of a Syphilis infection in a patient.

FAQ

  1. What is STD testing?

STD testing is a way to determine if you have any sexually transmitted disease (STDs) to ensure a safe and healthy sex life. There are over 20 types of STDs, including chlamydia, gonorrhea, and HIV. If left untreated, some STDs can cause long-term health problems like:

    • Infertility
    • Pelvic inflammatory disease
    • Cancer
    • AIDS
  2. What is the difference between an ultimate STD test and a regular STD test?

The ultimate STD panel is used to detect the presence of several STDs at a time and analyze general wellness through a CMP (comprehensive metabolic panel) and CBC (complete blood count). As opposed to this, a regular STD test will include a single biomarker only, which will test for 1 disease at a time.

  3. How accurate is STD testing?

STD testing is a highly accurate procedure, often returning accurate results after only one test.

  4. Do I need to visit a doctor?

Nope. You don't need a doctor's visit to get a test with us.

  5. How do I get my results?

You'll get your results via email as soon as they are available. We will notify you via SMS as well. You can also see them at any time in the future right in your dashboard where you can easily share them with your professional and compare them side by side with future tests.

  6. Does my lab prescription expire?

We're the only lab that honors your lab order forever.
