Uric Acid (Gout) Test
The Uric Acid Test will measure
the level of uric acid in the blood. Uric acid is a waste
product generated from the natural breakdown of cells in the body and is found
in blood and urine. Elevated levels of uric acid can be indicative of gout,
a form of arthritis also known as gout arthritis. A significant
deviation from the normal range may require further evaluation by your physician.
