The following specially
designed profiles are used to screen au pares, healthcare personnel and other
individuals responsible for the direct care of children. This series of tests
is an attempt to proactively provide information that can be used to assure
and protect the health and well being of young children.
Significant deviations from the normal range may require further evaluation
by your physician, in addition to Private MD's

The Au
Pare Drug Screen Profile contains the following tests:
Urine sample is tested for the
presumptive presence of approximately 250 drugs including the ones listed.
Note that this comprehensive panel even tests for nicotine, caffeine
and ethanol (alcohol).

- *Amphetamines: amphetamine (Dexedrine®), ephedrine/pseudoephedrine; methamphetamine
(Desoxyn®); phenmetrazine (Preludin®); phentermine (Ionamin®); phenylpropanolamine
- *Antidepressants: amitriptyline (Elavil®); desipramine (Norpramin®); doxepin
