AspirinWorks™ (11-Dehydrothromboxane B2 ) Test
The AspirinWorks® test
is performed on a random urine specimen. Increased levels of 11-dehydrothromboxane
B2 in the urine are an indication that your dosage of aspirin is not
effective for decreasing the risk of a heart attack or stroke. However, decreased
levels of 11-dehydro thromboxane B2 indicate that your aspirin dose is
working.
A significant deviation from the normal range may require further evaluation
by your physician.
